Born in 2018, L is a bright and determined young girl from Butwal, Nepal. Her early life was marked by hardship when her mother abandoned the family, leaving a void that led her father into the grip of drug addiction. Unable to provide care or stability, her father became an absent figure in her life, leaving L in a deeply precarious situation.

L now lives with her elderly grandmother, who, despite her frail health and the struggles of working as a day laborer, provides a loving home. However, her meager income was never enough to cover the basic costs of L’s education.
Today, L’s story is one of transformation. As of 2026, she is thriving in the 4th grade thanks to the generosity of her sponsor. Her tuition is fully covered, and she is equipped with all the essentials for success—including copybooks, pencils, colored pencils, and pens.

Beyond financial support, L and her family are no longer walking this path alone. A Hope for Angels advocate in Nepal regularly visits their home, ministering to their physical and emotional needs. Through these visits, the advocate brings the life-changing hope of Jesus to the family, offering spiritual encouragement alongside practical care.
