Mercy, from Kenya,  is only 14 years old and lives with her parents who both do manual jobs in the village of Tassia, Nairobi.

She is enrolled in a very weak public school in Nairobi, she is the second of the four siblings. We knew her through her mother who comes for counseling sessions. It has been struggle to even find food because of the difficult economic situation especially after Covid-19 pandemic.

Mercy is most of the time out of school, due to finances and her family situation.

Because of you, Mercy could change to a better school.  

We see young girls who prefer to run away from home for lack of provision of basic needs.  Typically they run to an environment that is very exploitive.
