Patience K.

Patience is 14 years old and lives in the country of Uganda near the town of Kakiri.  Her mother died five years ago, and her father was recently imprisoned for 16 years for abusing her and her older sister.  She and her three siblings are now living on their own.  Although she has been sexually exploited, she wants to continue with her schooling and become a doctor one day.  With your support, she can overcome this horrible experience and grow up to be a confident and self-supporting women.  (Ref.
