Shrishti Nepali is a 14-year-old girl studying in Grade 8. She comes from a very poor family background where limited financial resources make it difficult to meet daily needs, let alone support continued education. Despite these challenges, Shrishti remains determined to stay in school and build a better future.

Shrishti is an enthusiastic and creative student with a strong interest in dance. She performs exceptionally well and actively participates in school and community programs whenever given the opportunity. Dance is not only her talent but also her source of confidence and joy. Through education and creative expression, she is developing discipline, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose.

However, due to her family’s financial struggles, Shrishti’s education is at risk. Expenses related to school fees, uniforms, books, and basic learning materials are increasingly difficult for her family to afford. If she is unable to continue hereducation, her future becomes uncertain.

Shrishti lives in a community near the Nepal–India border, an area where adolescent girls from poor and marginalized families face a higher risk of exploitation and human trafficking, especially when they drop out of school. Education plays a crucial protective role by keeping her in a safe environment, increasing awareness, and reducing vulnerability to abuse and exploitation.
